The Stentor Student II 1500A (often referenced as 1500A) is a highly recommended full-size (4/4) violin outfit widely used by beginners and students. It features solid carved tonewoods, ebony fittings, and a reliable wooden bow, providing warm and resonant tones for learning.

Unlike entry-level plywood instruments, the Stentor Student II is carved from solid tonewoods. This construction helps produce a clearer, warmer sound and allows the instrument to mature as the student plays it. The inclusion of real ebony fittings prevents the pegs from slipping and the fingerboard from warping, common issues that plague cheaper instruments

The Stentor Student II is the ideal violin for the beginner and comes complete with a lightweight case with burgundy red integral cover with safety reflectors: fitted interior with accessory pocket, two bow holders and case blanket; carrying straps, full lid music pocket and external shoulder rest pocket. It also includes a good quality student wood bow with natural horsehair and full mounted ebony frog
